What a whirlwind the past few months have been! August and September always seem to fly by, and this year has been no exception. Between personal milestones and professional projects, it’s been a season full of fun, family, and some pretty big life transitions.
I recently had family in town for my niece’s wedding. Not only was the wedding absolutely beautiful, I was able to spend time with family and friends who live out of state. And, my parents even decided to extend their visit to explore apartments and senior living communities nearby as they plan for the next stage of their lives here in LA. Woo-hoo! While I’m excited to have them living nearby, it’s a bittersweet reminder that they’re entering a stage where they’ll need more support and care as time goes on. I can only imagine how difficult this must feel for them!
